Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) metastatic to the brain leptomeninges (LMD) is rapidly fatal, cannot be biopsied, and the number of cancer cells in the cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) are few; therefore, the tissue samples available for research and the development of effective treatments are severely limited. We overcame these obstacles using LMD patient CSF to perform massive parallel qPCR to analyze the cell-free RNA signatures (n=14), and performed single cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq; n=197 cells from 4 patients).<br>
