This dataset provides information on Knowledge Networks operating in the field of Climate Change Adaptation in Europe. Knowledge Networks are defined as interconnected groups who store, share, and act on climate adaptation knowledge. They play a crucial role in advancing adaptation efforts by facilitating knowledge exchange, resource mobilization, collaboration, social learning, and multilevel governance linkages. Data is collected through systematic review of the grey literature with a view to identify key types, governance structures, and operations of European knowledge networks, as well as their use of climate information. The data contains 46 organizations, covering diverse areas of intervention, scales of operation, and actor types. It can be merged with the database “Impetus4Change: Data on members taking part in Climate Change Adaptation Knowledge Networks in Europe”.
