Dataset for the identification of hypertension in school-aged children from Gqeberha, South Africa

Dataset used to evaluate and compare different international references to identify hypertension among South African school-aged children from disadvantaged communities.

It encompasses anonymized, unique, identification numbers, anthropometric and blood pressure measures, as well as blood pressure percentiles and the assigned categories derived from four different reference populations (American, German, global and the study population).
