Simulating Vortices in Straight line wind simulators

Two sets of vertical and horizontal louvers were introduced in the University of Florida Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel. These louvers have the capability to rotate and reach different angular openings at different angular speeds and angular accelerations. Some experiments were designed using the horizontal louvers only and some were designed using vertical louvers only. The goal is to reach certain targets of transient wind systems such as radial and vertical velocity profile, acceleration, and so on using vertical and horizontal louvers.
