本数据集为三亚观测站观测得到的VHF雷达回波强度和多普勒数据,经过整理得到的数据结果。内容包括视线距离,信号强度,信号功率,平均多普勒速度,多普勒谱宽等信息。提供了我国区域空间环境地基观测的多层次、多参量数据集,在空间物理、地球物理等基础研究领域,国防和卫星导航定位等应用均有重要作用。可用于我国电离层、中高层大气和地磁等地区特性和变化的研究,地球各圈层耦合和动力过程研究,地球空间环境对太阳活动响应,空间天气现报和预报,有关参数经验模式建立,卫星定位导航等电离层电波修正等问题。
This dataset is a curated collection of VHF radar echo intensity and Doppler data observed by the Sanya Observatory. It includes parameters such as line-of-sight distance, signal strength, signal power, average Doppler velocity, and Doppler spectral width. As a multi-level, multi-parameter ground-based observation dataset for China's regional space environment, it plays a critical role in basic research fields including space physics and geophysics, as well as applications such as national defense and satellite navigation and positioning. It can be applied to studies on the characteristics and variations of regions including China's ionosphere, middle and upper atmosphere, and geomagnetism; investigations into the coupling and dynamic processes of Earth's various spheres; analyses of the response of Earth's space environment to solar activity; real-time monitoring and forecasting of space weather; the development of empirical models for relevant parameters; and ionospheric radio wave correction for satellite positioning and navigation, among other related research topics.
