Streptomyces sp. SCSIO 03032 Genome sequencing and assembly. Streptomyces marincola strain:SCSIO 03032

The strain Streptomyces sp. SCSIO 03032, which was isolated from a sediment sample at a depth of 3412 m from the Bay of Bengal in the Indian Ocean, was capable of producing diverse bioactive secondary metabolites, including piericidins, spiroindimicins, indimicins, lynamicins and heronamides. We intend to reveal the biosynthetic pathways for its secondary metabolites though the genome sequence analysis.
