This data release accompanies the paper: "Identifying galactic binary systems of neutron stars and black holes with LISA" H. Middleton, P. Kolitsidou, A. Klein, C. Adam, R. Chalmers, A. Vecchio http://arxiv.org/abs/2507.11442 LISA LISA is the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna, a ESA-NASA space mission to detect gravitational waves in the frequency range 0.1 mHz - 1.0 Hz. To find out more about LISA visit: https://www.lisamission.org/. LISA will be launched in the mid 2030s. This work LISA is expected to observe gravitational-wave signals from ~100 Galactic binary systems comprised of black holes and/or neutron stars. In this work we generate synthetic LISA datasets with simulated gravitational-wave signals for 100 BHBH: binary black hole systems; 100 BHNS: black hole-neutron star binary systems; 100 NSNS: binary neutron star systems. Identifying the nature of the constitutents of these binaries as black holes or neutron stars and distinguishing them from the ~10^4 detected double white dwarf binaries will be challenging. We investigate how well the component masses of these binary systems can be recovered in LISA data. Data release contents This data release includes posterior chains for simulated BHBH, BHNS, and NSNS systems. The `getting_started.ipynb` notebook contains instructions of how to read the data included in `data.tar.gz`. The `selected_plots.ipynb` notebook includes some example plots using this data release. The files contained in `injection_and_measured_parameters.tar.gz` include the full results summarized in Appendix A, Table 3 in machine readble format (see paper and the included readme file for further details).
