Effect of protectants to alleviate ozone stress on rice cultivars

The concentration of tropospheric ozone (O3) is growing inadvertently, and its impacts on physiological, growth, and yield characteristics are well documented. However, little is known regarding its impact on root and soil properties, as well as the effectiveness of protectants in alleviating stress. As a result, a study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of protectants in alleviating the effects of ozone stress (100 ppb) on the phyllospheric and rhizospheric bacterial diversity of the sensitive and tolerant rice cultivars.
