Data Model for the Italian SME Guarantee Fund (FdG): OLAP Analytical Cube from Open Microdata (2012–2026)

The Italian SME Guarantee Fund (Fondo di Garanzia per le PMI — FdG), administered by Mediocredito Centrale (MCC) on behalf of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), publishes microdata on approved guaranteed transactions as open data. This deposit contains: fdg_cube.parquet — OLAP analytical cube (475,516 cells, 5 MB) built from FdG microdata 2012–2026: 4.45 million transactions, €403.8 billion in guarantees, aggregated along 7 dimensions (year, quarter, region, ATECO division, intervention type, evaluation process, legal form). GDPR-safe: no individual identifiers exposed. index.pdf — Methodology document (Italian): stack architecture (CSV → Parquet → cube), modelling choices, data anomalies, tax-code (GDPR) handling, usage examples with DuckDB/pandas/Power Query. build_cube.py — Python/DuckDB script to reproduce the cube from source Parquet files. fix_parquet_shift.py — Repair script for 3 historical Parquet files (2012-Q4, 2017-Q3, 2020-M10) in which columns were shifted due to a CSV parsing error. v2: fixes column-shift bug in 3 historical Parquet files; cube now covers the full corpus (4,450,292 operations, +139k vs v1). v3 (10.5281/zenodo.20751840) adds the English-language methodology PDF.
