CSIC-Real Jardín Botánico-Colección de Hongos Histórica (MA-Funhist)

English: The historical collection of the Royal Botanic Gardens fungi includes all the fungi that were deposited in the Herbarium MA before 1976, date in which separated collections of Cryptogams of the Phanerogams and ferns. It consists of more than 10,000 species and 15,000 taxa, whose information is collected on more than 20,000 records. It includes some collections such as that of Fragoso Gonzalez or Jordan Urriés, of phytopathogenic fungi which meant the start of Mycology in the current concept in Spain. The specimens come, mostly from Spain, but also in other countries of Europe, America, and to a lesser extent in Africa and Asia. Español: La colección histórica de los hongos del Real Jardín Botánico incluye todos los hongos que se depositaron en el Herbario MA antes de 1976, fecha en la que se separaron las colecciones de criptógamas de las fanerógamas y helechos. Se compone de más de 10.000 especies y 15.000 taxa, cuya información se recoge en más de 20.000 registros. Incluye algunas colecciones de hongos fitopatógenos como la de Fragoso González o Jordan Urriés, que significaron el inicio del concepto actual de la Micología en España. Los especímenes provienen, sobre todo de España, pero también de otros países de Europa, América y, en menor medida, de África y Asia.
