This dataset provides LiDAR-derived tree crown data for the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia, as part of the research paper “Landscape-wide modelling of canopy tree crowns and heights using LiDAR: a case study in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia” (2025). DOI: https://doi.org/10.1071/BT25031 Dataset Contents: The dataset consists of individual crown files (gpkg.zip format store in EPSG:28356) for each Local Government Area (LGA) within the study area. Each file contains the following data for each crown: ID: Unique identifier for each crown. Height: Canopy tree height in meters. Geometry: Polygon geometry defining the crown footprint.
