This record contains the supporting datasets associated with the manuscript "Global expansion of offshore aquaculture under climate change scenarios" (before publication), including: Dataset S1: Global farm inventory. Provides raster data of detected offshore aquaculture structures categorized by farm types (fish, seaweed) and periods (2015, 2020) at 1 arcsecond of resolution in the EPSG:4326 coordinate system. The dataset is organized into a set of files, each containing a 0.5-degree square tile for a specific annual period and separate bands for each farm type. Dataset S2: Chinese farm inventory. Provides raster data of detected offshore aquaculture structures categorized by farm types (fish, seaweed) and periods (2005, 2010, 2015, 2020) at 1 arcsecond of resolution in the EPSG:4326 coordinate system. The dataset is organized into a set of files, each containing a 0.5-degree square tile for a specific annual period and separate bands for each farm type. Dataset S3: Global projections. Provides raster data of offshore aquaculture farm area (in km2) for two farm types (fish, seaweed), three climate change scenarios (SSP2, SSP4, SSP5), and four periods (2020, 2030, 2040, 2050) at 0.2 degrees of resolution in the EPSG:4326 coordinate system. The dataset is organized into a set of files, each containing the whole map for a specific annual period and separate bands for each farm type.
