Foreign Reported Pacific Cod and Walleye Pollock Fishery Catch Data 1963-1989. Version 1.0

This dataset was used to conduct a retrospective analysis of catches of pollock and cod to create maps of species distribution as reflected in the catches. The spawning and feeding locations of cod and pollock in the Bering Sea are poorly identified, especially how these relate to changing environmental conditions. The historical catch data was used to evaluate changes in the distributions of catches as they relate to changes in environmental conditions.
