The data contain information on the type and origin of the biomass being tested in the form of commercially available pellets. Combustion was carried out in a low-power boiler designed for burning solid fuels used in domestic heating systems. Analyses were performed separately for bottom ash, the coarse dust fraction collected above the combustion chamber, and the fine dust fraction collected in the chimney flue. The dataset includes combustion temperatures, chemical composition (major and trace elements), mineral composition (XRD, micro-XRF, and SEM), particle morphology, and magnetic parameters such as magnetic susceptibility, frequency-dependent magnetic susceptibility, and magnetic hysteresis parameters. The aim of the study was to determine the type and amount of inorganic pollutants carried by individual combustion products, as well as the potential for their secondary management in accordance with the zero-waste policy. The feasibility of using magnetic parameters to assess the type of biomass being combusted was also investigated.
