This dataset archived here is a supplementary material to the study entitled by ‘Laboratory study on fluid-induced fault slip behavior: The role of fluid pressurization rate’ by Lei Wang*, Grzegorz Kwiatek, Erik Rybacki, Audrey Bonnelye, Marco Bohnhoff, and Georg Dresen. This study has been accepted for publication in Geophysical Research Letters as a research letter in March, 2020. <br>This dataset contains the results of two fluid-induced fault slip experiments on Bentheim sandstone samples at different fluid pressurization rates, including mechanical data, fluid pressure data, and acoustic emission data. First file named by ‘testSC1’ provides the results of fluid-induced fault slip experiments performed at fluid pressurization rate of 2 MPa/min while the second file named by ‘testSC2’ provides the results of fluid-induced fault slip experiments performed at fluid pressurization rate of 0.5 MPa/min. All results shown are recorded as a function of experimental time.
