Dataset - 3D videos & trees: Comparative analyses reveal rapid turnover and emergence of transitory 3D genome architectures in the fungal kingdom

This dataset is part of the article Comparative analyses reveal rapid turnover and emergence of transitory 3D genome architectures in the fungal kingdom (Laigle et al., 2026). It contains 55 videos of rotating 3D models of chromosomes from fungal species. Briefly, these models were produced using the 3DGB pipeline (Poisignon et al., 2023) on publicly available Hi-C data (The Darwin Tree of Life Project Consortium, 2022; Yildirir et al., 2022) and visualized in Mol* Viewer (https://molstar.org/viewer/). Besides videos, there are two phylogenetic tree files: "Ultrametric_fungi_ordered", "fungi_supermatric.fa.clipkit.treefile" (Cf. Methods in Laigle et al., 2026).
