This is a photograph of the headdress of an Aboriginal Old Mongolian tribeswoman living in the mountains of Kansu. In old times Nortwest had Thibetans south of the South mountains and Mongolians to the north. This mountain tribe speaks an old Mongolian language differing from present Mongolian language.
