The ecological functioning of black soil largely depends on the activities of various groups of microorganisms. However, little is known about how atrazine, a widely used herbicide with known harmful effects on the environment, influences the black soil microbial ecology. Here, we evaluated the change in extracellular enzymes and microbial community characteristics in black soil after exposure to varying concentrations of atrazine at Day 1 and Day 120.
