Pittsburgh Parcel-Level Data by ZIP Code: Time-Series Price Modeling and 2024 Geospatial Aggregates

This dataset provides ZIP code–level adjusted average parcel prices for all Pittsburgh mailing ZIPs. The 2024 cross-sectional dataset includes estimated average adjusted housing prices using an ANCOVA model that accounts for property characteristics and sale year and additional ZIP-code level variables such as arrest rates, school district rankings, population, and land area. The second data set is a longitudinal dataset that contains the ANCOVA-adjusted parcel price estimates for each ZIP code from 2012 to 2024. The data sets include all parcels with a “Pittsburgh, PA” mailing address extending beyond the city’s formal boundaries. Data sources include parcel assessments and property transactions from the Western Pennsylvania Regional Data Center (WPRDC), arrest data published by the City of Pittsburgh (WPRDC), and population and land area from the U.S. Census Bureau.
