The objective of this project was to obtain the genomic sequence of Enterobacter asburiae strain L1 delta-T1RM, in which the genes that encode for three proteins involved in the Type I restriction modification system were knocked-out via phage lambda-derived Red recombination approach. The targeted genes were replaced with kanamycin resistance marker. This is a mutant, and the wild-type is Enterobacter asburiae strain L1 (NCBI accession number: NZ_CP007546).
