Brief Description of the Dataset
This dataset contains detailed morphological and yield-related observations of 96 accessions of Burmese grape (Baccaurea ramiflora) collected from the agriculture field of Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. The dataset was developed to evaluate variability in plant, leaf, inflorescence, and fruit traits among naturally growing trees in the experimental from the Agriculture Field Lab 1. A total of 18 quantitative and qualitative parameters were recorded, including leaf morphology (leaf length, petiole length, lamina length, leaf breadth), fruit characteristics (fruit length, diameter, individual fruit weight, peel weight, aril weight, seed weight), reproductive traits (rachis length, number of fruits per rachis, number of rachis per plant, number of cloves), and yield attributes such as number of fruits per plant and yield per plant. In addition, organoleptic properties (0–10 sensory scale) were assessed to evaluate fruit quality. The dataset provides valuable information for germplasm characterization, phenotypic diversity analysis, and selection of superior Burmese grape accessions for breeding and conservation programs.
