Northern extratropical thermal and green growing season onset dataset

This repository contains the data and code used in the study “Global patterns and drivers of recent decoupling between extratropical spring phenology and temperature.”
It includes spatially explicit estimates of vegetation green-up onset (GSOS), thermal growing season onset (TSOS), and their difference (ΔSOS), which characterizes the decoupling between biological activity and temperature seasonality.
It includes the main R scripts for reproducing the results, the source data used to generate figures, and the spatial mask of the research area.
