资源简介:
Gallup Black-on-white, bowl (fragmentary), Accession AZRU-00008, Catalog #4985, Morris FS 4280. Analyzed by Lori Reed 2006. Sand/sherd temper and well fired paste suggest the bowl was manufactured in the Chaco Cibola region. Bowl fragment represent only about 40% of vessel. Image AZRU8-4985 A: interior view of rim fragments showing painted design and a drill hole. Image AZRU8-4985 B: interior view of rim, body, and base fragments showing interior painted design. Recovered from Earl Morris excavation of Kiva Q, Aztec West Ruin. Morris (1924:257) mentions Kiva Q as a comparison to kivas in the West Ruin Annex: "Kiva A.2 is of a different type, but from its similarity to Kiva Q in the main ruin, which is of known Chaco age, it must be considered contemporaneous with Kiva A.1." No other published description of Kiva Q is available.
