资源简介:
- Type of study: human subjects, prospective, cross-sectional
- Indication: story (re)telling tasks are considered useful for the assessment of narrative competence and production in children with DLD and children with HI. In the Netherlands they are used for diagnostic testing of narrative abilities in DLD-children and HI-children of 4 to 10 years. For the retelling task (by the Bus Story Test) and the telling task (by the Frog Story Test) a well-described and substantiated narrative model (Trabasso et al., 1989) is available, but valid normative data are missing or limited for the Dutch language.
The current research aims to collect normative data for the Bus Story Test and Frog Story Test. Furthermore, data are collected in DLD-children and HI-children to determine their specific (re)telling abilities, compared to TD-children.
- Type of observations/interventions: questionnaire, scores on language tests, ouitcome measures of narrative development, normative data.
