We > Ultrarich Maintained Wealth Figures
收藏资源简介:
wegtultrarich-wealth-figures is a small, actively maintained, curated compilation of headline extreme-wealth figures: world billionaire counts and combined wealth (Forbes World's Billionaires List, 2022–2026); global ultra-high-net-worth population and wealth (Altrata World Ultra Wealth Reports 2023, 2024, and 2026, covering data years 2022–2025); US median family net worth (Federal Reserve Survey of Consumer Finances, 2019 and 2022); the first-trillionaire event (June 12, 2026); and revenue estimates for current US wealth-tax proposals (California Proposition 40, the Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act of 2026). These figures fuel We > Ultrarich ("We Are Greater Than The Ultrarich"), a free, non-commercial comparison tool, REST API, and MCP server that makes extreme wealth inequality tangible by comparing any wealth to ultrarich wealth through four lenses. What Our Curation Adds. All underlying figures originate from the named third-party sources. The contribution of this dataset is the curation layer: normalized, stable metric IDs suitable for citation (unsuffixed = latest and _YYYY = frozen historical vintage); an explicit precision qualifier per row (exact, at_least, more_than, up_to, estimate, event) mirroring the hedging in each source; reference periods (as_of); per-row source names and URLs; retrieval dates; expected refresh timing; and reuser-oriented caveat notes (competing estimates, event reversals, inflation-adjustment conventions). Structure. One CSV file with 10 columns: metric_id, value, unit, qualifier, as_of, source_name, source_url, retrieved, next_expected_refresh, notes. Values are plain integers (no separators) or ISO dates. The full data dictionary is maintained at wegtultrarich.org/data. Sources. Forbes World's Billionaires Lists 2022–2026 (Forbes Media); World Ultra Wealth Reports 2023, 2024, and 2026 (Altrata); Survey of Consumer Finances (Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System); The Associated Press reporting on the SpaceX IPO; Boll-Saez-Zucman NBER Working Paper 35218 (2026); and the Saez-Zucman Scoring Letter for the Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act of 2026. Full citations are listed in the References field. This compilation is independent of, and not endorsed by, any of these sources. Versioning. A new Zenodo version is published with each data refresh; the concept DOI always resolves to the latest version. Cite the concept DOI for the dataset in general, or a version DOI for a specific vintage. The compilation is licensed CC BY 4.0; figures remain attributable to their original sources.
