For each of the six brain regions, possible diagnoses include Late-Onset Alzheimer's Disease (AD), unaffected elderly controls (CONTROL), and other decedents (OTHER). In MSBB and ROSMAP, other decedents were diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment while other decedents in Mayo were diagnosed with either progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) or pathological aging (PA).
