Alkalinity was determined by Gran titration with an autotitrator (Metrohm 794 basic Titrino) using 0.1 M HCl at 20 degrees C. Report includes alkalinity, correction factor (if applicable), and pH.
Values are means and standard deviations of three replicates (except one replicate bottle of the 180 ppm treatment at day 9). Samples were taken between 08:00 and 09:00 LT, after daily aeration.
