资源简介:

This dataset accompanies "The Non-monotonicity of Moist-Adiabatic Warming" (Miyawaki 2026, Journal of the Atmospheric Sciences). The paper shows that warming along a moist adiabat varies non-monotonically with surface temperature. This non-monotonicity arises from competing terms in the temperature sensitivity of the moist adiabatic lapse rate. The archive contains Jupyter notebooks that reproduce all figures in the paper, output from cloud-resolving model simulations used to evaluate the theoretical predictions, and the model source code. The simulations use the System for Atmospheric Modeling (SAM) version 6.11.2 following the RCEMIP protocol (Wing et al. 2018). Nine radiative-convective equilibrium experiments span surface temperatures of 280 to 320 K in 5 K increments, each integrated for 300 days on a 96 by 96 km domain with 1 km horizontal resolution and 74 vertical levels. Simulation output includes domain-mean statistics and hourly three-dimensional vertical velocity fields for the last 150 days.
