Crop pollinator pan trap, timed observation and transect data

These data were collected to better understand the pollinator communities found in UK crops field of apples, strawberries and field beans. Pollinator abundance data was collected in 8 conventionally managed fields of each crop using pan traps, timed observations and transect walks implemented simultaneously. Data were collected from 6 locations within each field over several survey rounds in weather conditions meeting basic requirements. Abundance of broad taxonomic groups of pollinators were recorded using each method as well as diversity metrics and flower density in each field.
