In 2022, there were around 655 thousand residential buildings in Gyeonggi province, South Korea, showing the highest number among all provinces in South Korea. Gyeongbuk and Gyeongnam followed with around 520 and 480 thousand residential buildings, respectively. In total, there were about 4.58 million buildings for residential use in South Korea in 2022.
