Transcriptomic analysis of anhydrobiotic gene regulatory network for cultured cell line, Pv11, from Polypedilum vanderplanki

Currently the studies of the effector genes for anhydrobiosis was proceeding and various molecular mechanisms to achieve desiccation tolerance was gradually uncovered in P. vanderplanki. However, the driving system to induce these effector genes were largely veiled and this is one of the barrier to apply the desiccation tolerance to other desiccation sensitive species. This project is to unveil the regulatory mechanisms of transcription factors and effector genes, that means gene regulatory network through time-series transcriptome analysis for anhydrobiotic cell line, Pv11, from Polypedilum vanderplanki.
