In 2020, the source wanted to illustrate the distribution of the value of food purchases made by French households according to the distribution channel and the time period. It can be seen that generalist online channels (supermarkets and convenience stores), meaning drives and online orders delivered to the home, accounted for more than six percent of the value of food purchases by households in France during the decontainement period, between May and June 2020.
