Temperature profile and water depth data were collected using BT and XBT casts from the ANRO AUSTRALIA, FLINDERS, and other platforms in Indian Ocean. Data were collected from 31 May 1983 to 02 November 1986 by Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) with support from the Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere (TOGA) project.
