To investigate the function of podoplanin, we established CMM2 and CMM12 canine melanoma cell lines in which podoplanin has been knocked out (KO) by CRISPR/Cas9. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of control and podoplanin KO cell lines. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for CMM2 and CMM12 cell lines and its podoplanin KO cell lines.
