This dataset contains field and laboratory data used to quantify the priming effect of Spartina alterniflora invasion on soil carbon cycling in Chinese coastal wetlands. Data include soil physicochemical properties (SOC, TN, C:N ratio, SWC), microbial biomass, and priming effects under three invasion levels (non-invaded, moderately, and highly invaded) across five climatic zones. It provides valuable information for understanding invasion-induced changes in microbial carbon use efficiency (CUE) and soil carbon loss across climatic gradients.
