Skin microbiota samples of ribbed newts exposed to Bsal

The aim of this project was to determine whether skin microbiota profiles of captive Pleurodeles waltl (1) varied between populations maintained under identical conditions, (2) predicted susceptibility to Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans (Bsal) and (3) changed following exposure to Bsal in a proportional way to the severity of chytridiomycosis disease.
