This report is for the sixth year of tenure to 21 April 2020. The tenement is located west of the sealed Gregory Development Road, north of Clermont through the Apsley and Blair Athol State Forests to west of the Miclere turn off. Historically gold has been produced from many mines throughout the tenement. However much of the previous production was from Miclere, Black Ridge and the Springs area east of the Gregory Development Road outside the tenement. This major production was from the basal conglomerate within the fault bounded Permian Basin Coal Measures. This style of mineralisation has been mined within the tenement at Black Johnson, McMasters, Yankee Camp, Hurleys, Mystery Diggings, and Leos Flat-Apsley. Gold quartz reefs in the basement Anakie Metamorphics were mined at Venus. Gold has also been produced from Quaternary alluvials and surficial pebbly quartz scree, overlying the Anakie Metamorphics.
