资源简介:
This repository (Part 2) contains the model output and the Python scripts required to reproduce the figures presented in Mourgela et al., “The radiative effect and climate responses of present-day wildfire emissions”. This work investigates the radiative and climate impacts of wildfire emissions at the global scale, using EC-Earth3-AerChem [1–2]. To address these objectives, we performed both atmosphere-only (pdClim-type) and fully coupled ocean–atmosphere simulations. In addition, we conducted five targeted atmosphere-only perturbation simulations in which wildfire emissions are removed from selected regions: Boreal North America, South America, Africa, Boreal & Central Asia, and Equatorial Asia. For a more detailed description of the methodology used, refer to Mourgela et al., “The radiative effect and climate responses of present-day wildfire emissions”.
