The study aimed to identify genes integrating BMP signaling, whose transcript levels rise or fall approximately linearly over the course of BMP4-driven differentiation, and whose rate of change is proportional to the level of BMP signaling. RNA seq of hESCs treated with a high dose of BMP4 concurrent with WNT inhibition, collected at 0, 4, 12, 20, 28, and 42 hours after differentiation with no inhibition of BMP signaling or at 5 hours with varying levels of inhibition of BMP signaling with the receptor inhibitor LDN-193189.
