A two-day 12h-day/12h-night transcriptome for the benthic diatom Seminavis robusta

Seminavis robusta strain 85A (MT+) was subjected to a 12h-day/12h-night photoperiod at daylight irradiances of 30 µmol photons m-2s-1. RNA-seq samples were harvested in twelve time points spanning two days and two nights. The time points sampled were (in Zeitgeber Time, h since first illumination): ZT2, ZT6, ZT10, ZT14, ZT18, ZT22, ZT26, ZT30, ZT34, ZT38, ZT42 and ZT46.The experiment was independently repeated three times, resulting in three replicate samples per time point. Paired-end 2x76 bp sequencing was performed on an Illumina HiSeq 4000 for all 36 samples in this study.
