D.2.4.3 Report about the acquisition of detailed DTMs and land-use information - Interreg Italy-Croatia 2021-2027

This report summarizes the work for Activity 2.4 of the Interreg Italy-Croatia STRENGTH project, and specifically the Deliverable 2.4.3. This deliverable summarizes the acquisition and integration of high-resolution DTMs and Land Use data for the Ravenna coastal area. Using Emilia-Romagna Region LiDAR DTMs from 2022 and 2023/24. The original 0.5 m DTMs were resampled to 5 m for modelling efficiency. Selected buildings, walls, gates, and coastal structures were edited to better represent flood pathways. Land Use and Land Cover datasets from regional sources and Copernicus/EEA Coastal Zone data were used to classify coastal areas. These classes supported the attribution of surface roughness values for flood modelling. The merged dataset provides a consistent spatial basis for identifying vulnerable sectors and supporting future exposure and damage assessments.
