为了更有效地保护典型的湿地生态系统、野生动植物及其栖息地，维护区域生态平衡，实现人与自然和谐发展，受十堰市环保局委托，华中师范大学承担了保护区范围及功能区调整方案的确定和《湖北丹江口库区省级湿地自然保护区总体规划》编制任务，根据《国务院办公厅关于进一步加强保护区管理工作的通知》、《全国湿地保护工程实施规划》、《全国野生动植物保护和自然保护区建设总体规划》等有关要求，在对保护区进行综合科学考察并在结合历史调查资料的基础上，调整保护区的功能区划和范围，并编制完成《湖北丹江口库区省级湿地自然保护区总体规划（2014~2023）》。

To more effectively protect typical wetland ecosystems, wildlife and their habitats, maintain regional ecological balance, and advance harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature, Central China Normal University was entrusted by the Shiyan Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau to formulate the adjustment plan for the reserve’s scope and functional zones, and compile the Master Plan for Hubei Danjiangkou Reservoir Area Provincial Wetland Nature Reserve. In compliance with the relevant requirements specified in the *Notice of the General Office of the State Council on Further Strengthening the Management of Nature Reserves*, *National Wetland Conservation Project Implementation Plan*, and *Master Plan for National Wildlife Protection and Nature Reserve Construction*, as well as other relevant regulatory documents, the university conducted comprehensive scientific surveys of the reserve and integrated historical survey data, then adjusted the functional zones and scope of the reserve, and successfully completed the *Master Plan for Hubei Danjiangkou Reservoir Area Provincial Wetland Nature Reserve (2014–2023)*.
