Financial Literacy and Well-Being in Malaysia’s Digital Economy: Insights from the AHAM–Versa–Monash Financial Literacy and Well-Being Survey
收藏资源简介:
This report presents descriptive insights into financial literacy, financial behaviour, financial attitudes, financial well-being, retirement readiness, and digital financial engagement among digitally engaged Malaysians. The analysis is based on anonymised data collected by Versa from users of its platform in December 2025 and draws on the OECD/INFE financial literacy framework. The findings highlight a central paradox: despite relatively strong financial knowledge and widespread adoption of digital financial services, many respondents continue to experience financial vulnerability, limited resilience to shocks, and challenges in long-term financial planning. The report further explores behavioural barriers, retirement preparedness, financial capability gaps, and the implications of digital financial engagement for household financial outcomes. The report is intended to inform public policy discussions, financial education initiatives, digital financial platform design, and broader efforts aimed at strengthening financial capability and financial resilience in Malaysia’s evolving digital economy.
