Argument Data for Persuasion Dialogues

This dataset contains 146 arguments, which are used to construct two argumentation maps focusing on the issue of UK universities charging tuition fees for students. All arguments in the dataset were collected from online forums and newspaper articles, reflecting a diverse range of perspectives. Participants assigned belief scores to these arguments via sliders. These arguments are divided into 13 groups for participant evaluation. The task of this dataset is to evaluate the belief in the arguments as well as the concerns in persuasive dialogues.
