The KVH C100 Compass SN 120502259 was deployed on 2025-10-04 at St. John's Bay. St. John's Bay is located slightly east of the city St. John's, Newfoundland. This device is a Orientation Instrument. Orientation instruments are used on ships, ROVs and instrument packages to record variables like heading, pitch and roll. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
