COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF PARALINGUISTIC CUES IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK SPEECH

Paralinguistic cues play a crucial role in spoken communication by complementing verbal language and enhancing meaning. These cues include intonation, stress, pauses, facial expressions, gestures, and body movements. This article presents a comparative analysis of paralinguistic cues in English and Uzbek speech, focusing on their linguistic and cultural characteristics. The study highlights similarities and differences in the use of paralinguistic means and demonstrates how they contribute to effective communication and meaning interpretation in both languages.
