资源简介:
This resource provides an agent-based model (ABM) that extends the open-access electric vehicle charging model developed by van der Kam et al. (2020) with explicit vehicle-to-grid (V2G) functionality. In addition to bidirectional charging behavior, the model incorporates empirically grounded user preference structures derived from Bakhuis et al. (2025), allowing agents to differ in their willingness to adopt and use V2G.
The model was developed and applied as part of the PhD dissertation research of Jerico Bakhuis ("Vehicle-to-grid in the Netherlands: A sociotechnical multi-system analysis"). It was used to explore V2G adoption dynamics and the potential contribution of V2G to electricity grid balancing in a stylized Dutch urban context, across a range of sociotechnical conditions and scenario assumptions.
Model implementation and dependenciesThis resource includes only the NetLogo implementation of the extended model (“V2G NL ABM Model.nlogo”). The model relies on input data from the original open-access model by van der Kam et al. (2020). To run the model, users must separately download Version 1.1.2 of the van der Kam et al. model from the CoMSES Computational Model Library. From that download, the "data" folder should be placed at the same directory level as the NetLogo model file provided here. When set up correctly, the directory will contain only the NetLogo model file and the "data" folder, and the model can be executed using the input data contained therein.
Referencesvan der Kam, M., Peters, A., van Sark, W., & Alkemade, F.
