This dataset contains whole genome sequencing (WGS) results, as well as mRNA-seq of RNA extracted from a venous blood sample, from 23andMe research participants of African ancestry. Unrelated individuals predicted to have >= 50% African ancestry were selected and consented for sequencing. Participants were at least 18 years old and lived in the United States and were willing to provide a blood sample for genomic research. Participants were current 23andMe customers and provided informed consent and participated in the research under a protocol approved by the external AAHRPP-accredited IRB, Ethical & Independent Review Services (E&I Review).]]>
