Smart Inventory Monitoring System for MSMEs Using IoT and Real-Time Notification

This research introduces a Smart Inventory Monitoring System designed for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by combining Internet of Things (IoT) technology with instant notification capabilities. The study addresses common issues found in conventional inventory management practices, including manual stock recording, limited real-time visibility, and slow responses to inventory changes, all of which can reduce operational efficiency and increase the risk of losses. The proposed system automates inventory tracking through IoT-enabled data acquisition and centralized data management. By continuously monitoring stock conditions, the system is able to detect critical situations such as low inventory levels or damaged products and immediately deliver notifications to users. The findings show that implementing an IoT-based inventory management system can enhance monitoring accuracy, operational efficiency, and responsiveness within MSME environments. Despite several challenges, such as internet reliance and implementation expenses, the system demonstrates strong potential as a flexible and efficient solution for modern inventory management.Keywords—Inventory Management, Internet of Things, MSMEs, Real-Time Monitoring, Smart System.
