We performed ATAC-seq and ChIP-seq targeting two homedomain transcription factors, PBX1 and PBX3, in the ectodermal layer of chick embryo frontonasal process at Hamburger-Hamilton stage 22 (HH22). Each data set has two biological replicates. The Frontonasal Ectodermal Zone (FEZ) tissues from 10-15 normal chick embryos at HH22 were pooled for each replicate for ATAC-seq analysis (n=2). Since ChIP-seq requires a substantially greater number of cells compared to ATAC-seq, the FEZ tissues from 80-85 normal chick embryos were pooled for each replicate (n=2). Paired-ends read sequencing was conducted for ATAC-seq (2 X 150 bp), and single-end reads were sequenced for ChIP-seq (50 bp).
